Known gap

This article describes something in the app that is missing, partly built, or advertised elsewhere and not actually available. It says what happens today and how to get the outcome by hand. Everything of this kind is listed on known gaps.

The policy

Fourteen days from the payment, no questions asked. Write to us and we refund it.

This is a goodwill policy we offer voluntarily. It is not your statutory right of withdrawal, and it does not replace, shorten or stand in for it — those rights are separate and are described below.

That applies to a first subscription payment and to a renewal you did not intend. It is deliberately simple, because arguing about refunds is a bad use of everyone's time.

How to ask

There is no refund control in the app — write to us or email support directly, with the email address you paid with and roughly when. We will find the payment and process it through Stripe. It usually reaches your card within five to ten working days depending on your bank.

What we would rather you did first

If the reason is that something did not work as advertised, tell us what it was before asking for the refund — not to talk you out of it, but because there are three things we already know are missing and it is useful to know which one caught you:

  • The sidereal toggle was listed on Plus and never existed. The claim has been removed, but if you subscribed while it was up, say so. Details.
  • The Pro REST API was listed on Pro and was never built. Same — the claim is gone, the refund stands. Details.
  • "PDF export" means printing from your browser. Details.

If you paid for any of those, the refund is not a favour — ask, and mention which one.

Outside the fourteen days

Ask anyway. We would rather deal with it than have you charge it back.

Your statutory rights

If you are a consumer in the EU, you have a statutory right of withdrawal on distance contracts. It exists independently of the goodwill policy above, and nothing here limits it. The provider details and the legal contact address are in the imprint.

The full statutory withdrawal instructions and the model withdrawal form are being prepared with legal advice and will be linked here and at checkout. Until they are published, exercising your statutory right is simply a matter of telling us — write to the address in the imprint and say you are withdrawing.

The gap

There is no refunds page on the website, and the fourteen-day window is currently mentioned only inside the referrals section of the account page — which is not where anyone would look. This article is the operative statement of the policy until that is fixed properly.
