Transits — today's sky over your chart

The Transits page draws the current planetary positions on top of your own chart, so you can see which of your gates are being activated right now and which channels are temporarily completed.

It is free on every plan, including the calendar. This surprises people who assume transits are the paid part.

What it shows

• Today's activations — where each planet is now, in gate and line.
• Formed channels — where a transiting planet completes a channel with one of your own gates. These are the ones that tend to be noticeable: a centre that is normally open in you is temporarily defined.
• Yesterday and tomorrow, one click either side.
• A calendar, so you can look at any date — a past day you are trying to make sense of, or one coming up.
• The sky's own cross and variables for the day.

Which "today"

The page anchors to your local time zone — the one your browser reports. If you are travelling, it follows you. If your browser reports nothing usable it falls back to the time zone of your birth chart, and then to universal time.

This matters near midnight: a planet that changes gate overnight will change on your local calendar day, not on a server's.

Reading it usefully

The useful question is not "what is transiting" but "what is transiting that I do not already have". A transit hitting a gate you already carry adds emphasis. A transit that completes a channel into a centre you normally have open is a different experience — it temporarily gives you consistency you do not usually have, and it can be easy to mistake that for a change in yourself.

The channels the page highlights are exactly those cases.
