Smell

The mind processes through the sense of smell, literally and as a metaphor. "Something smells right" or "something smells off" - the nose knows before the mind can say why. Left: actively seeks the right scent. Right: waits for what arrives. In practice: unusually sensitive noses. Decision-making with a quality of instinctive sniffing-out.
