Gate 59 is the Sacral's generative drive toward closeness. Toward the removal of the barriers between self and other that make genuine intimacy possible. This is the most directly reproductive gate in Human Design, and the drive here is not just personal. It serves life's continuity. Gate 59 sits in the Sacral and connects to Gate 6 in the Solar Plexus via the Channel of Mating (59-6). Gate 6 controls the emotional opening and closing of barriers; Gate 59 provides the sacral drive toward the dissolution of those barriers. In the tribal defense circuit, this channel is fundamentally about reproduction and the continuation of the group.
