Gate 41 · Contraction

Gate 41 is the Root pressure to begin. Not the beginning itself, but the desire that precedes it. The pressure of wanting, of something new calling. This is the engine that starts the entire abstract (Sensing) circuit cycle. Gate 41 sits in the Root and connects to Gate 30 in the Solar Plexus via the Channel of Imagination (41-30). Gate 41's initiating pressure ignites Gate 30's emotional fire, which sets the abstract journey of experience in motion. Gate 41 also marks the Rave New Year: when the Sun transits Gate 41 (approximately January 22), the Human Design year begins.
