Gate 30 · Feelings

Gate 30 is the fire of desire: the intense longing for experience, for feeling, for life fully lived. It is the emotional fuel behind imagination and the drive for new experience. The question is whether you can hold the fire without being consumed by it. Gate 30 sits in the Solar Plexus and connects to Gate 41 in the Root via the Channel of Imagination (30-41). Gate 41 provides the Root pressure of wanting, the specific hunger for new experience; Gate 30 provides the emotional charge that gives that desire its fire.
