Mandala
Chart structure
The mandala is the wheel that surrounds the bodygraph, showing the sixty-four gates laid around the thirteen constellations on the Sun's path. It is how the astronomy becomes a chart: a planet at a given degree falls in a given gate, and the mandala is the map that makes that translation. It is also the clearest way to see that gate order and constellation order are two different things laid over each other: the gates are all the same size, and the constellations are not.
