Gate 61 · Inner Truth

Gate 61 carries the pressure toward a truth that is deeply personal and cannot be derived from external sources. Not the logical questioning of Gate 63 or the abstract confusion of Gate 64. An inner knowing that arrives as conviction without being able to explain itself. Gate 61 sits in the Head and connects to Gate 24 in the Ajna via the Channel of Mindfulness (61-24). Gate 61 generates the pressure of the individual inner truth that cannot yet be explained; Gate 24 provides the cognitive process of returning to it again and again until understanding gradually catches up with the knowing.
