Gate 23 · Assimilation

Gate 23 takes individual insights that arrive fully formed and inexplicable, and finds a way to say them. The art is translation: from something true but un-languaged to something that can actually be heard. Gate 23 sits in the Throat and connects to Gate 43 in the Ajna via the Channel of Individuality (43-23). Gate 43 holds the individual knowing that cannot yet be explained; Gate 23 provides the voice that finds words for it. The challenge: individual knowing arrives complete but without an explanation for itself. Gate 23 must translate this into language, often simplifying in the process.
