Gate 19 · Wanting

Gate 19 is acutely attuned to whether basic needs are being met, its own and others'. This sensitivity is tribal at its core: food, shelter, warmth, care. The body notices very quickly when any of these are absent or threatened. Gate 19 sits in the Root and connects to Gate 49 in the Solar Plexus via the Channel of Sensitivity (19-49). Gate 49 holds the emotional principles that govern tribal belonging; Gate 19 provides the fine-tuned attunement to whether those principles are actually being honored. The channel asks: are the terms of this relationship fair?
