Gate 18 · Correction

Gate 18 has an acute splenic sensitivity to what is wrong, what is flawed, what could be better. This is not a critical personality trait. It is a body function. The sensing arrives before the mind knows why, and it is often correct. Gate 18 sits in the Spleen and connects to Gate 58 in the Root via the Channel of Insatiability (18-58). Gate 58 brings the vitality and joy of life; Gate 18 brings the drive to correct what diminishes that vitality. In the collective logic circuit, the corrections here serve the whole.
