Variables (PHS)

The four arrows: how your body eats, thinks, and where it functions best.

6 terms

Motivation

Variable · PHS

Arrow 1 (Top Left, Personality Head). What drives your engagement with life at the most fundamental level. Motivation is not what you consciously think you want. It is the underlying orientation of the body toward life - the pull beneath your choices that shapes what feels worth engaging with and what does not. Six motivation types correspond to Colors 1-6 in the gate activation sub-structure. Each operates in two registers: a not-self expression when the person is living against their design, and a correct expression when living as themselves.

Perspective

Variable · PHS

Arrow 1 (Top Left, Personality Head, paired with Motivation). The lens through which you perceive reality. Where Motivation describes what pulls you toward life, Perspective describes how you actually see it - the orientation of the conscious mind to whatever is in front of you. Six Perspective types correspond to Tones 1-6 in the line sub-structure.

Cognition

Variable · PHS

Arrow 2 (Top Right, Design Head). The specific sensory channel through which your mind is built to process information most effectively. Cognition is unconscious - it operates beneath what you recognize as "how you think." It is the body's primary sense for taking in information, not a cognitive style you can choose. Six Cognition types each correspond to a specific sense. Ra Uru Hu described these as the six cognitive "smells" - the way the mind sniffs out what is correct for it.

Determination

Variable · PHS

Arrow 3 (Bottom Left, Personality Sacral). How and what your body needs to eat for optimal health and energy. Determination is the most immediately practical variable. The right Determination optimizes digestion, energy, and physical health. The wrong approach creates chronic low-level depletion even when the food itself is nutritionally sound. Six types, each with a left (active, consistent) and right (passive, variable) orientation. Important: Determination is advanced PHS material. These descriptions are working references. Study the primary Ra Uru Hu PHS material before applying this in readings.

Environment

Variable · PHS

Arrow 4 (Bottom Right, Design Sacral). The type of physical space in which your body functions best. Environment is not a preference or a comfort - it is a genuine design need. The wrong environment creates chronic, low-level depletion even when nothing is overtly wrong. The right environment produces ease, cognitive clarity, and the ability to operate at full capacity. Six types, each with a left (active, specific) and right (passive, adaptable) orientation.

Movement

Variable · PHS

Arrow 4 (Bottom Right, Design Sacral, paired with Environment). How your body is designed to move through space and time. Movement describes the physical and temporal rhythm of how the body engages with its environments. Paired with Environment: where the body needs to be (Environment) and how it moves through that space (Movement) form a complete picture of Arrow 4. Six types, each left (active, self-directed) or right (passive, responsive).
