Midpoint Method

The Midpoint Method, developed by Athen Chimenti, is how this app decides where one constellation ends and the next begins. Each boundary sits on the Sun's path, halfway between the last star of one constellation and the first star of the next. These are not the International Astronomical Union's 1930 boundaries, which were drawn to map the whole sky rather than to divide the Sun's path.
